Elk running the ridge

A bull elk and small harem crested the top of the hill and continued running as far as the eye could see

Lone bull

This lone bull elk was clearly spent of energy as it made its ascent it was breathing heavy and moving slowly. The day was coming to and end and light was getting low and he pushed on to find a refuge for the night.
